近年のレーザー技術、イオン加速技術の進展により、レーザー駆動イオン加速は、次世代の高エネルギー粒子加速技術の1つとして期待されている。講演では、レーザー駆動イオン加速の歴史を概観し、近年の研究の進展について紹介する。

Thanks to the progress in both the intense laser technology and the acceleration method, laser-driven particle acceleration scheme could offer the next-generation high-energy particle accelerators. In the presentation, after a brief introduction, several recent noticeable advancements in this field will be presented.
