Development of intense femtosecond laser using idler pulse compression scheme,1; Chirped-pulse amplification with monolithic glass block

A practical CPA laser has been developed using the chirp-reversal of an idler pulse generating in OPA scheme. We have made a new monolithic glass block for both pulse stretching and compressing in CPA, which is 10-times smaller than previous one. In the experiment, sub-100 fs compressed pulse was generated using the glass block.
