In order to validate the plant dynamic analysis code Super-COPD for inter-subassembly heat transfer in the core, the analyses that simulate the steady-state experiments with the plant dynamic test loop (PLANDTL) in the low flow conditions corresponding to natural circulation have been carried. The two test cases that have a significant temperature difference between adjacent subassemblies were simulated. In both cases, the simulated sodium temperature distributions in subassemblies had good agreement with experimental results. It was found that the Super-COPD could evaluate the inter-subassembly heat transfer in the core.
