2-d scintillation detector for neutron protein diffractometer in J-PARC, 1; Detector performance of the large area prototype detector

We have developed a two-dimensional scintation detector for the protein-dedicated neutron diffractometer to be constructed in J-PARC/MLF. The prototype detector exhibited a spatial resolution of 2.5 mm as expected in the detector design. The detector performances including -ray sensitivity wil be presented.
