MLFの中性子データ処理環境「空蝉」の高度化と現状

「空蝉」とは、J-PARC, MLFにおける非弾性散乱装置の装置制御・および解析環境として整備が始まったソフトウェアである。データ処理機能の面では、MLFが採用したデータ収集方式であるイベント記録方式をいち早く実用化し、非弾性散乱装置の解析環境として成果を上げてきた。一方、MLFにおけるイベント記録方式のシステムは多くの装置で共通化されているものの、装置ごとに様々な検出器が使用され、生み出されるデータも細部で異なっている。現在、「空蝉」のイベントデータ処理機能をそれぞれの検出器に合わせて拡張し、多くの装置への導入を進めている。しかしビームラインでの動作には問題が少ないものの、ユーザーの環境で動作させる場合の対応環境の少なさや、定期的なアップデートの配布手段やドキュメントが少ないなどいくつも問題を抱えているのも事実である。そこで本発表では、現在進めている「空蝉」のビームラインへの導入状況、WindowsやMacOS版の開発(Fig.1)や、新たな可視化など、高度化の状況と問題点を報告し、今後の展開について示す予定である。

"Utsusemi" is the data reduction software packages used in MLF, J-PARC, which is based on analysis software framework Manyo Library. The development of "Utsusemi" had started as the software to control the instrument and to analysis data for the inelastic neutron scattering. Especially "Utsusemi" is utilized to treat event-recording data in MLF and produced many results, for example the achievement of multi-Ei methods and so on. In these years, "Utsusemi" is required not only from inelastic instruments but also from other instruments by the demands to analyze event-recording data effectively. "Utsusemi" is successfully introduced in many instruments in MLF now. However, we have some problems on using in users environment. Originally "Utsusemi" is running on only Linux, and we don't have enough ways to distribute updated codes or information. To solve these, we had started several projects, for example the development of "Utsusemi" binary package to run on Windows and MacOS.
