Development of nuclear emergency response robots at Naraha Remote Technology Development Center relevant to the laser technology

JAEA has constructed Naraha Remote Operation Technology development center in order for Fukushima Daiichi NPPs decommissioning and Emergency Response. JAEA has been developing and operating Emergency Response Remote equipment in case of severe accidents from October 2012. Laser technology has been utilized and in emergency response robots and future laser technologies have been expected.
