Extraction properties of ,-di(2-ethylhexyl)octanamide toward uranium from nitric acid

Extraction properties of ,-di(2-ethylhexyl)octanamide (DEHOA) toward uranium from nitric acid were studied using single-stage batch method. The results revealed that DEHOA effectively extracted uranium when the nitrate ion concentration was 2.0-3.0 mol/dm $^{3}$ .
