J-PARC MLF is the facility of material and life science. In addition MLF is a good neutrino source from mercury with 3 GeV proton injection. In present, 3 type of neutrino is well known. But 4th type neutrino, sterile neutrino was suggested by the experimental results. E56 experiment at J-PARC MLF is to make a decision of sterile neutrino at eV order. I report the status of sterile neutrino search at J-PARC MLF.
