Current status of SmART cycle project in JAEA

JAEA promotes SmART cycle project which is a cycle test using feedstock of small amount of MA in irradiated fuel. As the current status of the project, the dissolution and extraction of irradiated Joyo fuel have been finished and the flowsheet for MA recovery from the raffinate by extraction chromatography was decided by radioactive tests.
