Development of nuclear forensics capabilities in Japan; Status of prototype library development including discriminant analysis methodologies

Japan Atomic Energy Agency that possesses sufficient analytical capabilities to fulfil this nuclear forensics mission has started R&D on nuclear forensics technical capabilities since Japanese Fiscal Year of 2011. This R&D activity includes development of prototype nuclear forensics library (NFL) for future national NFL (NNFL), including discriminant analysis methodologies as a function of the NFL. In the present paper, current status and future plan of the prototyoe library in JAEA including the development of discriminant analysis methodologies will be presented.
