MLFの中性子データ処理環境「空蝉」の現状2016

「空蝉」は、J-PARC, MLFにおける中性子散乱用データ処理・解析可視化環境の一つであり、多くのビームラインで導入が進められているソフトウェアである。最近は一般的な電気シグナルを同じデータ収集システムに取り込んでイベント記録が可能となったため、それらと中性子データとを組み合わせた処理が必要とされているが、空蝉はそれらのデータ処理に成功している。よって空蝉は今やMLFの解析環境の基盤としての側面も持つようになっている。広く使用されるに従い顕著になってきたユーザーのPC環境での動作が難しいという問題を解決するため、簡単にインストールできるWindows及びMacOSで動作するバイナリ版の空蝉を開発し、平成28年度からユーザーに提供し始めている。また一部コードのオープンソース化なども進め、インターネットなどから簡単に入手できるように対応を進めている。

We report the current status of software development about "Utsusemi" and its applications for the effective utilization of event-recording data on the Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility (MLF), the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC). Utsusemi is the one of analysis software frameworks utilized for the data reduction and visualization in MLF, including treatment of event-recorded data. To solve many problems Utsusemi included, for example, difficulty to install Utsusemi into user own PC, we produced Utsusemi binary package to run on Windows and MacOS to provide users widely. In addition, we did the procedure in JAEA to make Utsusemi be open source for effective distributions for users on the internet.
