Enhancement of decontamination performance of impurities for uranyl nitrate hexahydrate crystalline particles by crystal purification operation

照射済燃料溶解液から回収した硝酸ウラニル六水和物の結晶精製挙動を調べた。硝酸ウラニル六水和物結晶の表面に付着している液体不純物は、結晶洗浄により除去され、硝酸ウラニル六水和物結晶に内包している液体不純物は、発汗現象により除染係数が向上したと考えられる。

Behavior of crystal purification of uranyl nitrate hexahydrate from recovered a dissolver solution of irradiated nuclear fuel was examined. It is assumed that liquid impurities on the surface of the uranyl nitrate hexahydrate crystals were removed by the crystal washing and liquid impurities within the uranyl nitrate hexahydrate crystals increased their decontamination factors by the sweating phenomenon.
