高速炉開発の研究開発、設計研究の現状と進捗について、安全を中心に概要を報告する。また、2016年の高速炉開発にかかる閣僚会議、政府方針を受けた今後の開発戦略ロードマップの策定についても紹介する。

Progress of Research and Development and design study on sodium cooled fast reactor in Japan is shown especially for safety. Further, activity to establish a Strategic Roadmap of the fast reactor development is introduced based on the Ministerial Meeting for the Nuclear Energy Policy held last year.
