Effects of boron on the chemical behavior of cesium and iodine in the reactor coolant system condition during LWR severe accident, 2; Effects of boron vapor species on chemical behavior of deposited cesium iodide

In order to investigate the effects of boron on deposited cesium iodide in the reactor coolant system in a steam atmosphere, we performed the reproductive experiment for reaction between deposited cesium iodide and boron vapor species. As the result, it was found that formation of gaseous iodine is promoted under boron-containing condition.
