Alpha knockout reaction analysis with AMD cluster wave function

In this presentation I will discuss the investigation on $$alpha$$ cluster states through $$alpha$$ knockout reaction cross section analyses, $$^{20}$$Ne and $$^{48}$$Ti in particular. The $$alpha$$ cluster states of these nuclei are described by the Antisymmetrized Molecular Dynamics (AMD), and the Distorted Wave Impulse Approximation (DWIA) is adopted as a reaction theory. Within the framework of these structure and reaction theories, the theoretical knockout reaction cross section is calculated and the comparison between existing data is discussed.
