Radiolysis and reaction dynamics of condensed phase probed by advanced physical and chemical method; Overview

Kai, Takeshi

Although many theoretical experimental studies for water radiolysis and its chemical reaction have been performed, the consistency between the physical process and the chemical process has not been maintained. From the current states, we have performed the theoretical studies connected with the physical and the chemical processes. As the results, radiolytic dynamics simulation, which can maintain the consistency, have being developed from the consideration with polarization effects of condensed phase. Thus we proposed a symposium connected with physical and chemical processes, and it was adopted by Japan Physical Society. We show overview of this symposium, and report the forefront of study for the water radiolysis, and the importance of the study connected with physical and chemical processes.
