ナトリウム冷却型高速炉の燃料集合体内のワイヤラッパ型燃料ピンを模擬した3本ピンバンドル体系の水試験において、ピンに囲まれたサブチャンネル部の速度場をPIV(Particle Image Velocimetry:粒子画像速度測定法)により計測し、ピンとワイヤの位置関係による速度場の変化を把握するとともに、Re数がサブチャンネル部の速度場に与える影響を評価した結果を報告する。

In this study, water experiments were carried out to investigate the velocity distribution in the wire wrapped pin bundle. The test section consists of an acrylic duct tube and fluorinated resin 3 pins which have nearly the same refractive index with that of water. The velocity distribution in the inner subchannel with the wrapping wire was measured by PIV. Furthermore, Reynolds number dependence to the velocity distribution in the inner subchannel was confirmed in the experiments.
