Visualizing research and development of achievement of Monju project

ナショナルプロジェクトとして開発がすすめられてきたもんじゅは、2016年12月に運転を終了し、2018年4月に廃止措置に入っている。もんじゅ開発で得られた知識、経験を将来の高速炉開発のためのデータベースとして整備しているところである。成果を視覚的にアピールする方法として、もんじゅ開発で報告書や論文等の文献情報を分析して成果の可視化を試みた。技術用語のキーワード分析では、もんじゅ開発の大きな流れである設計, 建設, 運転, 次期炉への対応、の各段階を特徴づけるキーワードが抽出でき、ネットワーク図で可視化することができた。共著者分析では、運転までは産業界とのつながりが強いこと、運転後は大学や国外研究機関とのつながりが強くなっていることをネットワーク図により可視化することができた。

Monju (prototype Fast Breeder Reactor) was developed as a national project in Japan. The plant operation terminated in Dec. 2016 and decommissioning work started in April 2018. The experience and knowledge of the project are being compiled in a database for the future FBR designers and researchers. To appeal the achievement visually, achievements of Monju project are visualized by bibliographic network analyses for reports and papers published through the project. In the keyword analysis, technical keywords featuring the progress of the project were clearly observed for four phases; design phase, construction phase, operation phase, and post-Monju phase. In the Co-authorship analysis, expansion of co-authorship was clearly observed; Industry till operation, university and foreign institute for the post-Monju phase.
