Nuclear spin conversion of H$$_2$$ trapped in solid CO$$_2$$

固体CO$$_{2}$$中で分極したH$$_{2}$$の微弱な赤外吸収を検出し、固体中の電場強度を評価した。また、赤外スペクトルの時間変化を解析することで、水素の核スピン転換率を決定し、電場が転換に与える効果を吟味した。

We detected weak infrared absorption by H$$_{2}$$ trapped and polarized in solid CO$$_{2}$$ and evaluated the strength of the local electric field just in the solid. By analyzing the time evolution of the spectrum, we determined the conversion rates of H$$_{2}$$ to examine the effect of the electric field on the conversion.
