Vision to enhance R&D and international cooperation on nuclear fuel cycle activities

Research and development of the fast reactors and related fuel cycles will proceed according to "the Strategic Energy Plan" and "the Strategic Roadmap of Fast Reactor Development". International collaboration should be very important to enhance these activities from the following viewpoints, (1)Pu management, (2)Human resource development and human resource exchange including transfer of intellectual property, technology and know-how, (3)Research and development for Post-Irradiation Examination (PIE) technique on Fuels and Materials, and (4)Mutual use of infrastructure.
