J-PARC中性子源用低温水素システムの安全設計

低温工学分野に関連する高圧ガス設備は技術進歩により規制緩和が進む一方で、設計, 構造, 運転において事業者, 運転機器管理者の自己責任が問われている。また、広く産業界では新技術における危険の多様性が指摘されており、安全対策として「リスクアセスメント」を念頭において、低温工学分野の技術リスクと安全対策についての環境・安全委員会合同ワーキングが開催される。化学プラントや宇宙環境の分野に合わせて、水素利用の分野として、J-PARCの物質・生命科学実験施設で稼働している中性子源用低温水素システムの安全対策について紹介する。

The deregulation of high-pressure gas equipment related to the cryogenic engineering field is progressing by the technological progress. On the other hand, in the design, structure, and operation of the equipment, the self-responsibility of business operators and operating equipment managers is being questioned. In addition, a wide variety of dangers in new technologies have been pointed out widely in industry. The Environment and Safety Committee meeting on technical risks and safety measures in the field of cryogenic engineering will be held with the "risk assessment" as a safety measure in mind. I will introduce the safety measures for the cryogenic hydrogen system for the neutron source operating at J-PARC's Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility as a field of hydrogen utilization in line with the chemical plant and space environment fields.
