JSNS$$^{2}$$ experiment

Hasegawa, Shoichi

JSNS$$^{2}$$ (J-PARC Sterile Neutrino Search at J-PARC Spallation Neutron Source) is an experiment which research for a sterile neutrino from$$bar{nu}_{mu}$$ to $$bar{nu}_{e}$$ appearance oscillation mode with muon decay at rest. MLF (Material and Life science Facility at J-PARC) is an experimental facility using neutrons and Muons. However, it is a neutrino source generated from generated meson which a 3 GeV proton beam inject to a mercury target. JSNS$$^{2}$$ experiment will search an oscillation phenomenon in a short distance by placing a detector in the MLF building. In this talk, we will report on the current state about the experiment.
