Transport pathways of cesium from forests to fish in mountaineous streams

Kurikami, Hiroshi

Transport pathways of radiocesium from forest to fish living in mountaineous streams were analyzed by using a simulation model and environmental monitoring data. As the results it was clarified that there are three transport pathways to fish. Fast decrease of cesium concentrations in leaves/needles and litter layer is strongly related to the fast decrease of that in fish.
