R&D of hydrogen production technology for heat application of HTGR

R&D of the thermochemical water-splitting hydrogen production method, iodine-sulfur (IS) process is explained in 3rd Seminar on Development of HTGR Technology for Cogeneration and Heat Applications. So far, the continuous hydrogen production test apparatus, which is made of the industrial materials, was completed to be constructed. And then, the continuous operation test with 30 L/h during 150 h was succeeded by using the apparatus. In addition, the membrane technologies are developed to improve the thermal efficiency of the IS process.
