日本保健物理学会のスコープと最近の活動動向

Scopes and recent activities of the Health Physics Society of Japan

日本原子力学会では福島第一原子力発電所事故後に生じた課題に対し、それらの解決を目的とした数多くの検討や取り組みを国内の学会と協力して重ねてきたが、事故が発生してから10年という節目に会誌「アトモス」で協力してきた各学会の活動や取り組みを紹介することとした。その中で、日本保健物理学会は、放射線防護や放射線影響を専門とする研究者や技術者が所属しており、事故後に専門研究会や臨時委員会を設置し、その検討結果を公表するとともに、関係する活動に反映させてきた。また、広い視野で事故後の課題を議論するための公開シンポジウムを開催するとともに、住民などからの質問や懸念に対するQA集を公開した。本稿では、これらの活動及び今後のスコープを紹介する。

The Atomic Energy Society of Japan (AESJ) has conducted many studies and efforts in cooperation with academic societies in Japan to solve problems that have occurred after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident. At the 10th anniversary of the accident, AESJ plans to introduce activities and efforts of each academic society on the journal of "ATOMO". Among them, the Health Physics Society of Japan (JHPS) has researchers and engineers in the fields of radiation protection and radiation effects, and then specialized study groups and ad-hoc committees have been established after the accident. The results have been published and reflected in related activities. In addition, public symposiums have been held to discuss issues from a broad perspective, and released a collection of QA for questions and concerns from public.
