Photoelectron spectroscopies of f-electron materials (tutorial)

Fujimori, Shinichi

The electron correlation effect gives rise to an abundant variety of physical properties of 4f and 5f materials. To understand the origin of these physical properties, the observation of their band structure and Fermisurface is essential. Angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy is a powerful experimental technique by which the band structures and Fermi surface of materials can be observed. In this talk, I am going to discuss the electronic structures of strongly correlated 4f and 5f materials studied by the photoelectron spectroscopy.
