Twisted skyrmion strings in a layered Heisenberg model with dipole-dipole interactions

Skyrmion strings in a layered Heisenberg model with dipole-dipole interactions are investigated by solving the Landau-Lifshitz equation numerically. Twisted skyrmion strings appear in some cases, for which the helicity of the skyrmion for the top surface is opposite to that for the bottom surface. The skyrmion near the middle layer is a Nel skyrmion with inward spin directions for the twisted skyrmion strings.
