燃料温度の低減を目的とした革新的高温ガス炉燃料の予備検討

高温ガス炉を対象に、炉心出力密度向上による経済性向上を目的として、通常運転時の燃料温度低減を可能とする縮小型流路を採用した燃料体を提案するとともに、数値シミュレーションにより伝熱流動特性を評価した。評価の結果、従来必要とされた多数の燃料濃縮度数なしに燃料温度低減が達成できる見通しを得た。

In order to improve economics of High Temperature gas cooled reactors (HTGR) by means of increasing core power density, HTGR's fuel assembly in which converged coolant flow is adapted is proposed to achieve reduction of fuel temperature during normal operation and heat transfer flow characteristics is estimated with numerical simulation. As a result of estimation, a perspective of fuel temperature reduction is obtained without numbers of fuel enrichment which are required in the conventional method.
