既往の研究において、焼結体の金相写真から乾式回収粉粒子の周囲に空隙が形成される傾向が観察されているが、乾式回収粉粒子由来の部分と原料粉由来の部分を完全に識別するのは困難であった。本件では、乾式回収粉によるペレット焼結密度の制御に係るメカニズムを明らかにすることを目的とし、焼結体中の模擬乾回粉由来の領域を特定するために、CeO$$_{2}$$中にトレーサーとして酸化ジルコニウム(ZrO$$_{2}$$)を添加した(Ce,Zr)O$$_{2}$$焼結体を粉砕・粒度調整して得た(Ce,Zr)O$$_{2}$$模擬乾式回収粉の粒子径分布及びCeO$$_{2}$$原料粉と模擬乾式回収粉との混合割合をパラメータとしたペレットの成型・焼結実験を行い、微細構造の評価を実施した。

In previous studies, although a tendency for voids to form around dry recovered powder particles has been observed from the metallography of sintered pellets, it has been difficult to completely distinguish the areas derived from dry recovered powder particles from those derived from raw powder. In this study, for the purpose of clarifying the mechanism of the control of the pellet sintering density by dry recovered powder, and to identify the area in the sintered pellets derived from simulated dry recovered powder, (Ce,Zr)O$$_{2}$$ sintered pellets with zirconium oxide (ZrO$$_{2}$$) added as a tracer in CeO$$_{2}$$ was milled and particle size adjusted to obtain (Ce,Zr)O$$_{2}$$ simulated dry recovered powder was used as a parameter for the particle size distribution and the mixing ratio of CeO$$_{2}$$ raw powder and simulated dry recovered powder to form and sintered pellets, and the microstructure of the pellets was evaluated.
