Single crystal growth and characterization of unconventional superconductor UTe$$_2$$

High quality single crystals of the unconventional superconductor have been successfully prepared with the molten-salt flux technique. The quality of the samples as measured by the residual resistivity ratio is extremely higher than the existing samples. The present 'new generation' samples demonstrated peculiar aspects of unconventional superconductivity in this compound.
