Prevention of aerosol adhesion on resin substrate by nanoparticle coating

Satone, Hiroshi*; Segawa, Tomoomi ; Kawaguchi, Koichi  ; Taguchi, Shogo*; Yamamoto, Takuji*; Iimura, Kenji*

Nanoparticle coating is a very effective method for preventing dust adhesion and is expected to be used in the various applications. However, nanoparticle coatings have been applied to inorganic materials such as glass and metals, and there have been no successful cases on resin substrate surfaces. In this study, silica nanoparticles were successfully coated by pre-adsorbed cationic polyelectrolytes on the resin substrate surface.
