Influence of atmospheric deposition and climate change on lake eutrophication and environment in Lake Buir (eastern Mongolia) over the last century

Eastern Mongolia Plateau is situated at a northern limit of the current East Asian summer monsoon facing the Westerlies and is important area for understanding of the paleo environmental changes. This study investigated geochemical and physical properties of a 49 cm length sediment core, retrieved from the deepest part in Lake Buir, eastern Mongolia, to reveal the sedimentary records of the recent past climate changes.
