Development of evaluation methodology based on ISO/IEC 25010 for selecting Digital Mock-Up platform for decommissioning work

This paper describes development of evaluation methodology based on ISO/IEC 25010 for selecting Digital Mock-Up platform for decommissioning work. Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. (TEPCO) takes into account of developing a Digital Mock-Up (DMU) for providing informational support to execute safe decommissioning work at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (FDNPS). In order to effectively address implementation of the DMU, it is essential to carefully select technologies available in the market. Therefore, appropriate evaluations must be conducted. In this paper, we propose a quantitative method for selecting the DMU platform based on a software quality model ISO/IEC 25010 and discuss the alignment between the proposed evaluation method and concrete system requirements considering an specific use case utilizing a remote control equipment.
