JEFF-3.3, JEFF-4T3, JENDL-5 & ENDF/B-VIII.0 benchmarking using criticality benchmarks with MVP Monte-Carlo code

This presentation shows the validation of evaluated nuclear data libraries JEFF-3.3, JEFF-4T3, JENDL-5, and ENDF/B-VIII.0 using the criticality experiment benchmarks and a continuous energy Monte Carlo calculation code MVP. Criticality experiment benchmarks are important for validation of nuclear data libraries. This study used the Mosteller benchmark suite for the validation of the JEFF, JENDL and ENDF/B libraries. This study also investigated the cause of the difference among the different libraries by comparing the calculation results. This calculation results showed that all libraries has good prediction accuracy. The calculation results also showed that the difference of the (n, p) cross section of N-14 has an large impact on one solution experiment.
