Characterizing the fuel debris in Fukushima reactors is essential for developing efficient removal methods. This study analyzed Fe-ZrSiO$$_{4}$$-based and (Zr, U)SiO$$_{4}$$ fuel debris using advanced electron microscopy techniques. At crack tips, a metallic phase of polycrystalline Fe, Cr$$_{2}$$O$$_{3}$$, and ZrO$$_{2}$$ with dimples (2-58 $$mu$$) was observed, with a dislocation density of 2.1 $$times$$ 10$$^{14}$$ m$$^{-2}$$, much higher than typical annealed Fe. A 3D reconstruction revealed a core-shell structure with a (U, Zr)O$$_{2}$$ core (1-5 $$mu$$) and a (Zr, U)SiO$$_{4}$$ shell (2-9 $$mu$$) in the molten corium-concrete interaction debris.
