Local structure analysis of heavy fermion CePtGa $_{15}$ with a honeycomb structure using extended X-ray absorption fine structure

A heavy fermion system CePtGa $_{15}$ is studied by the extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS). The spectra show that cerium is in trivalent state. On the other hand, EXAFS result is well explained by the proposed structure model with the honeycomb arrangement.
