Possible pairing symmetry of BaPtAs$$_{1-x}$$Sb$$_x$$ on the ordered honeycomb network

Chiral superconductivity is one of the topological superconducting states with spontaneous time-reversal symmetry breaking (TRSB). SrPtAs is one of the compounds of the layered honeycomb network superconductors and shows TRSB. In this study, in order to investigate the electronic structures of BaPtSb and BaPtAs we carried out the first-principles calculations using the Quantum Espresso package. We found that the chiral d-wave state with TRSB could be a plausible pairing symmetry in BaPtSb, and the conventional s-wave and the line nodal f-wave were competitive in BaPtAs.
