To evaluate the classification characteristics of mixed oxide fuel (MOX fuel), which is a high-density powder, the dependence of particle density on the classification performance of the cyclone classifier was evaluated using several powders with different densities. As a result of the classification experiment using powder samples in the density range including MOX, it was verified that 50% separation diameter and classification accuracy index showed a monotonic tendency with density. This study is expected to make it possible to estimate the classification performance of the cyclone classifier for high-density MOX by interpolation.
