Analysis of fuel debris obtained from inside the pedestal of Unit 2 of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, 5; Characterization of isotope ratios of nuclides and microstructure in fuel debris by SIMS and TEM

The elemental distribution of several pieces of fuel debris was obtained by scanning electron microscopy combined with wavelength dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. We also evaluated the microscopic isotope ratios of nuclides in fuel debris and their crystal structures by secondary ion mass spectrometry and transmission electron microscopy.
