流動下の溶融鉛ビスマス中の材料腐食に及ぼす予備酸化の影響について調査した。水蒸気酸化および酸素飽和酸化による予備酸化被膜をつけたSUS316LとT91について、流動LBE中で腐食試験を行ったところ、いずれの予備酸化でもSUS316L、T91ともに腐食量が減少し、これらの酸化処理を組み合わせることで腐食量がさらに減少した。SUS316Lは予備酸化により主にすきま部の腐食が低減され、T91は予備酸化により全体的に腐食が低減された。鉛ビスマス中の酸素拡散に注目して解析を行った結果、予備酸化により腐食が低減したのは、材料表面での酸素枯渇を避けることで、安定な被膜ができやすくなったためと予想された。

The effect of pre-oxidation on material corrosion in molten lead-bismuth under flow conditions was investigated. Corrosion tests were conducted on SUS316L and T91 with pre-oxidation films formed by steam oxidation and oxygen-saturated oxidation in flowing LBE. The results showed that corrosion decreased for both SUS316L and T91 with either pre-oxidation method, and combining these oxidation treatments further reduced corrosion. For SUS316L, pre-oxidation primarily reduced corrosion in crevice areas, while for T91, pre-oxidation reduced corrosion overall. Analysis focusing on oxygen diffusion in lead-bismuth revealed that the reduction in corrosion due to pre-oxidation was likely attributed to the formation of a stable film by avoiding oxygen depletion at the material surface.
