JPL11は、専従者3名およびサポートスタッフ2名で構成される小規模なラボであり、年間約30件の依頼分析を実施している。長年ラボヘッドを務めた解析担当者の退職を契機として、品質管理体制の強化に着手した。その一環として、他の公認実験施設における優良事例を参照すべく、PTSの仲介により、同規模のラボであるATL03を訪問するとともに、PTSとの意見交換を行った。これらの取組みを、ラボ間の国際的な連携を通じた品質管理向上の一例として紹介する。また本報告では、RASAフィルタ前処理手順の標準化に対応したプレス機の更新など、JPL11の最近の活動状況を取りまとめ、品質管理の進展として情報を共有する。

JPL11 is a small laboratory with three regular staff and two support staff, and performs around 30 sample analyses requested per year. Following the retirement of the analyst who had been in charge of Head of JPL11 for a long time, JPL11 has made efforts to strengthen its quality control system. As part of these efforts, JPL11 visited ATL03, a similarly sized laboratory, with the support of PTS, to learn about good practices in other radionuclide laboratories, and exchanged opinions with PTS. These efforts are presented as an example of improving quality control through international collaboration between laboratories. This report also summarizes recent activities of JPL11, such as updating the hydraulic press machine to comply with the standardization of RASA filter pre-processing procedures, and shares this information as an example of progress in quality control.
