Safety analysis codes SAS4A and SIMMER-III for the Core Disruptive Accident (CDA)of Fast Breeding Reactor (FBR) have been under development in JNC. SAS4A analyzes the initiating phase and SIMMER-III analyzes the transition phase of CDA. Their applicability to reactor situation was confirmed through the application to the reactor assessments. In order to perform analysis of total accident progression throughout the initiating and transition phase, it is necessary to transform the output of SAS4A to SIMMER-III input data. These two codes employ different geometrical and physical models, this connecting procedure becomes extremely complicated and troublesome. Therefore, an interface code SAME-II was developed to connect SAS4A and SIMMER-III codes. The antecedent codes SAS3D and SIMMER-II had the similar interface code SAME as well. In the development of SAS4A and SIMMER-III, many changes and improvements have been made on the physical models, but also the structure of input and output files. Therefore, new code SAME-II is developed to automatize the connection between SAS4A and SIMMER-III and complete the safety analysis system. THe basic design structure, conversion algorythm of physical properties, structure of the code and input conrol valiables, and the result of validation calculation are described in this report.
