By exploiting a paradigmatic study of the band structures as a function of their spin-orbit coupling (SOC), we draw the topological phase diagram of CeX and unambiguously reveal the topological phase transition from a trivial to a nontrivial regime in going from CeP to CeBi induced by the band inversion.

福井県大野市の手取層群上部の伊月層は、本層中部の砂岩から得た最若ジルコンU-Pb年代値127.2

)の報告があり、その時代はBarremianとされる。近年では、恐竜類,コリストデラ類,トカゲ類,カメ類,魚類,トリティロドン類といった多様な脊椎動物化石が本層下半部から報告されている。これらは手取層群の古脊椎動物相の多様性と層序対比において重要な資料である。本報告の"三錐歯類"化石は荒島岳東方の伊月層下部から発見された、3本の頬歯が植立する左歯骨の一部である(長さ約14mm)。CTによる画像観察では、保存されている最前の歯の後方に脱落歯の歯槽と、最後方の歯の後ろにも歯槽やメッケル溝も確認できる。頬歯の歯冠それぞれは、前後直線上に並ぶ三主咬頭(前から順にc, a, b)があり、明瞭な歯帯は無い。詳細な形態の判断が困難だが、最前の歯はやや小さいものの、大臼歯型を呈するp4もしくはm1の可能性が、後方2本の大臼歯(m2-3、もしくはm3-4)は高い咬頭bに加え、歯冠前縁と後縁に明瞭な副咬頭(eとd)を持つ。大臼歯間に明瞭なインターロック構造はない。国内では未記載種だが、新種であるかは検討を要する。一方、トリティロドン類はこれまで本層から切歯のみが知られていたが、遊離した右下顎頬歯の追加標本が得られた。頬舌幅に比べて前後長(約7.5mm)のある四主咬頭の歯冠で、桑島層から記載されたMontirictus kuwajimaensisの大型タイプに類似する。伊月層からはさらなる追加標本が期待でき、年代測定を含めた本層の解析を進める計画にある。
