Here, we report a unique type of magnetic transition characterized by a linear increase in the volume fraction of unconventional static short-range-ordered spin clusters, which triggered a transition into a long-range order at a threshold fraction perfectly matching the bond percolation theory in a new quantum antiferromagnet of pseudo-trigonal Cu
(OH)
Cl
. Static short-range order appeared in its Kagome lattice plane below Ca. 20 K from a pool of coexisting spin liquid, linearly increasing its fraction to 0.492(8), then all Kagome spins transitioned into a stable two-dimensional spin order at
_
_
_
_
$. The unconventional static nature of the short-range order was inferred to be due to a pinning effect by the strongly correlated coexisting spin liquids. This work presents a unique magnetic system to demonstrate a complete bond percolation process toward the critical transition. Meanwhile, the unconventionally developed magnetic order in this chemically clean system should shed new light on spin-liquid physics.

The results indicated that in the high 
region, FCG rate was dramatically accelerated by corrosion, but the gap narrows as 
decreased. The accelerated corrosion FCG rate was a comprehensive result of the acceleration effect of the anodic dissolution, hydrogen-enhanced localized plasticity and the retardation effect of corrosion-induced crack-tip blunting. Despite the fact that the corrosion resistance gradually decreased as the pre-crack depth increased, the FCG rate in the corrosive medium gradually decreased. This was because fatigue loading played a more important role than corrosion in accelerating the corrosion FCG rate.

Fe on
Fe (half-life=44.5 days) is the key reaction for the production of
Fe in massive stars. This reaction cross section has been previously constrained by the Coulomb dissociation experiment, which offered partial constraint on the E1
-ray strength function but a negligible constraint on the M1 and E2 components. In this work, for the first time, we use the surrogate ratio method to experimentally determine the
Fe(n,
)
Fe cross sections in which all the components are included. We derived a Maxwellian-averaged cross section of 27.5
3.5 mb at
= 30 keV and 13.4
1.7 mb at
= 90 keV, roughly 10%-20% higher than previous estimates. We analyzed the impact of our new reaction rates in nucleosynthesis models of massive stars and found that uncertainties in the production of
Fe from the
Fe(n,
)
Fe rate are at most 25
. We conclude that stellar physics uncertainties now play a major role in the accurate evaluation of the stellar production of
Fe.

= 600 mK. This magnetic order is associated with a small sharp peak in heat capacity and most magnetic entropy release occurs above the magnetic ordering temperature. The magnetic moment lies in-plane, parallel to the monoclinic a-axis, whose magnitude m
= 0.86(3)
is considerably smaller than the expected fully ordered moment of 2.24
for the doublet crystal-field ground state. The magnetic ordering moment gradually increases with increasing magnetic field perpendicular to the ab-plane, reaching a maximum value of 1.6(2)
at 4 T, before it is completely suppressed above
9 T. These results indicate the presence of strong quantum fluctuations in YbCl
.

but with dramatically enhanced magnetic scattering and elimination of superconductivity. This is different from the suppression of the overall magnetic excitations in hole-doped BaFe
As
and the enhancement of superconductivity near optimal hole doping. These results are consistent with density function theory plus dynamic mean field theory calculations, suggesting that Vanadium doping in LiFeAs may induce an enlarged effective magnetic moment
with a spin crossover ground state arising from the inter-orbital scattering of itinerant electrons.

Pd and
Pd, respectively with 79 and 81 neutrons, are key isotopes to understand the evolution of the N=82 shell closure below
Pd. These nuclei were studied at RIBF (RIKEN). New isomeric states with half-lives of 144(4) ns and 39(6)
s were assigned spins and parities of (23/2
) and (19/2
) in
Pd and
Pd, respectively. The assignment was carried out based on the results of the
-ray intensity balance analysis and the measured transition strengths with the aid of a shell-model calculation. The isomoer in
Pd was ascribed predominantly to three neutron-hole excitations in the N=50-82 shell. The 19/2
state in
Pd is expected to involve the coupling of proton and neutron configurations. The new data will provide important benchmarks for a better understanding of
-process nucleosynthesis.

Te
employing X-ray magnetic circular dichroism and angle-resolved two-photon photoemission spectroscopies, combined with first-principles calculations. We found an magnetic moment at the Te site anti-parallel to that of the V and Sb sites, which plays a key role in the ferromagnetic order. We ascribe it to the hybridization between Te 5
and V 3
majority spin states at the Fermi energy, consistent with the Zener-type
-
exchange interaction scenario. The substitution of Bi for Sb suppresses the bulk ferromagnetism by introducing extra electron carriers in the majority spin channel of the Te
states that compensates the antiparallel magnetic moment on the Te site. Our findings reveal important clues to designing magnetic topological insulators with higher Curie temperature that work under ambient conditions.

Cd was populated in the projectile fission of a
U beam at the Radioactive Isotope Beam Factory at RIKEN. A half-life of T
= 6.3(8) ms was measured for the new state which was tentatively assigned a spin/parity of (15
). The isomeric state decays via the emission of a 309-keV
ray with
multipolarity. The experimental results are compared to shell model calculations performed using state-of-the-art realistic effective interactions and to the neighbouring nucleus
Cd. The comparison with calculations shows that adjustments of the pairing and multipole parts of the effective interaction derived from the CD-Bonn nucleon-nucleon potential are required in order to describe the properties of nuclei in the region around
Sn.

Sn were populated following one-neutron knockout reaction from an unstable
Sn beam at the RIBF laboratory in RIKEN. In addition to the already known
rays, additional
strength was observed for the first time in the excitation-energy range 3.5-5.5 MeV. Since the neutron separation energy of
Sn is low, this observation provides direct evidence for the radioactive decay of neutron-unbound states in this nucleus. The ability of
decay to compete with neutron emission was attributed to a mismatch between the wave functions of the initial and final states in the neutron emission case. These findings suggest that in the region south-east of
Sn, nuclear structure effects play a significant role in the decay of unbound states, which are instead usually ignored in the evaluation of neutron-emission probabilities in astrophysical simulations.
