被引用回数:1 パーセンタイル:34.54(Physics, Nuclear)The neutron-deficient Bi and Po isotopes have been studied by -ray spectroscopy using the recoil-decay tagging technique with the Argonne Gas-Filled Analyzer. A new 0.25(5)-micro second isomeric state and a prompt cascade formed by 319-, 366-, and 462-keV rays have been established on top of the (10) -decaying isomer in Bi. The first excited (2) state in Po was identified, its excitation energy of 242(2) keV continues the nearly constant trend for the first 2 states in Po. The state is most likely a member of a prolate rotational band built on the ground state, albeit mixing with other coexisting configurations cannot be excluded. The new results obtained in the present work provide new information to shape coexistence in bismuth and polonium isotopes near the neutron midshell at = 104. In this mass region, a reduction in the prompt -ray yield obtained with recoil decay tagging was observed for a few nuclides, and the possible reasons are presented.

被引用回数:33 パーセンタイル:96.15(Physics, Multidisciplinary)A new -emitting isotope U, produced by the fusion-evaporation reaction W(Ar,4n)U, was identified by employing the gas-filled recoil separator SHANS and the recoil- correlation technique. More precise -decay properties of even-even nuclei U were also measured in the reactions of Ar, Ca beams with W targets. By combining the experimental data, improved -decay reduced widths for the even-even Po-Pu nuclei in the vicinity of the magic neutron number = 126 are deduced. Their systematic trends are discussed in terms of the scheme in order to study the influence of proton-neutron interaction on decay in this region of nuclei. It is strikingly found that the reduced widths of U are significantly enhanced by a factor of two as compared with the systematics for the 84 90 and 126 even-even nuclei. The abnormal enhancement is interpreted by the strong monopole interaction between the valence protons and neutrons occupying the 1 and 1 spin-orbit partner orbits, which is supported by the large-scale shell model calculation.

We performed a gamma-ray spectroscopy of at J-PARC Hadron Experimental Facility in 2015. It is the first measurement of rays emitted from -shell hypernuclei. In this experiment, we determined the energy spacing between the ground state spin doublet, and states, as 316 keV. The excitation energies of and states are also determined to be 895 and 1266 keV, respectively. The energy spacing is found to be well reproduced by shell-model calculations which describe - and -shell hypernuclei well. The results show that the present theories of the interaction describe not only the light hypernuclei but also a heavier hypernucleus.

The energy spacing between the ground state doublet, and states, of F is determined to be keV by measuring the -ray energy of the transition. In addition, three -ray peaks are observed and assigned as , , and transitions. The excitation energies of the and states are determined to be keV and keV, respectively. It is found that the ground state doublet spacing is well described by theoretical models based on existing - and -shell hypernuclear data.

The missing mass spectroscopy of hypernuclei is planned at the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC) by using the reaction. We are constructing a new magnetic spectrometer, S-2S, which has a better momentum resolution [ (FHWM)] than that of an existing spectrometer (SKS) at J-PARC. S-2S would give us an opportunity to confirm the existence of hypernuclei as a peak structure owing to both the high momentum resolution and its reasonably large solid angle. Brief descriptions of our experiment and of its preparation status are presentedin this article.

被引用回数:68 パーセンタイル:92.87(Physics, Multidisciplinary)1.69GeV/のビームによる反応の測定から""-like structureを観測した。この反応では、のように(1405)を中間状態として束縛状態が形成されると考えられる。しかしながら、大部分のは上記のような二次反応を行わず重水素外に放出されてしまう。そこで、250MeV/以上の運動量で大角度()に放出される陽子を同時検出することで、シグナル-バックグラウンド比を向上させ、2.27GeV/付近に幅の広い構造を観測した。この構造はの束縛エネルギー・崩壊幅において、それぞれ95(stat.)(syst.)MeV、162(stat.)(syst.)MeVに相当する。

被引用回数:14 パーセンタイル:65.89(Physics, Multidisciplinary)質量分解能2.70.1MeV/(FWHM)の精度で、1.69GeV/のビームを用いて、の包括的な質量欠損スペクトルを測定した。そこで、おおむね得られたスペクトルを単純な準自由過程のシミュレーションで再現することができたが、以下にあげる二つの逸脱が見られた。すなわち、2.13GeV/付近における cusp起因と考えられる過剰事象とやの生成領域におけるバンプ構造の中心値が低い質量側に22.40.4(stat.)(syst.)MeV/ずれていることを見出した。
