Recent advances on the study of the gap symmetry in UPt by thermal conductivity tensors are reported. The field-angle-resolved thermal conductivity shows spontaneous twofold symmetry breaking i the gap function for the high-field C-phase, indicating the pairing symmetry of UPt belongs to an representation in the -wave category.
