被引用回数:0 パーセンタイル:0.01(Astronomy & Astrophysics)We report the first observation of the processes at =10.866 GeV with a and significance respectively. The measured Born cross sections are pb, and pb. We also set the upper limit on the cross section of the process to be ~pb at CL. The results are obtained with the data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider in the energy range from 10.63 GeV to 11.02 GeV.

被引用回数:9 パーセンタイル:65.5(Physics, Particles & Fields)Charged lepton flavor violation is forbidden in the Standard Model but possible in several new physics scenarios. In many of these models, the radiative decays () are predicted to have a sizeable probability, making them particularly interesting channels to search at various experiments. An updated search via using full data of the Belle experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 988 fb, is reported for charged lepton flavor violation. No significant excess over background predictions from the Standard Model is observed, and the upper limits on the branching fractions, and , are set at 90% confidence level.

被引用回数:11 パーセンタイル:62.17(Astronomy & Astrophysics)We present the results of the first Dalitz plot analysis of the decay . The analysis is performed on a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 953 collected by the Belle detector at the asymmetric-energy KEKB collider. The Dalitz plot is well described by a combination of the six resonant decay channels , , , , and , together with and S-wave components. The decays and are observed for the first time. We measure ratio of the branching fractions, =0.500 . Using the Dalitz fit result, the ratio is measured to be ; this is much lower than the theoretical expectations () made under the assumption that is a pure state. The product branching fraction is determined. In addition, the contribution to the resonance shape is confirmed with 10.1 statistical significance using the three-channel Flatte model. We also measure . This is consistent with, and more precise than, the current world average , deviates with a significance of more than from the theoretical predictions of (0.51-0.92)%.

We observe a new structure in the energy dependence of the cross sections; if described by a Breit-Wigner function its mass and width are found to be MeV/ and MeV, where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. The global significance of the new structure that includes a systematic uncertainty is 6.7 standard deviations. We also find evidence for the process at the energy 10.52 GeV, which is below the threshold.
