Shielding experiments has been carried out using high energy proton accelerators at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) since 2007 under a collaborative study program of JASMIN: Japanese and American Study of Muon Interaction and Neutron Detection. The experiments were carried out at the anti-proton target station (Pbar) and NuMI (Neutrino from Main-Injector). In the Pbar target station, neutron spectra in- and outside of the shield configuration consisting of steel and concrete blocks were measured by a current-readout Bonner spectrometer and activation method. In NuMI, attenuation behavior of muons through rock was observed by activation method. In addition, total dose rates and the contribution rates of some kinds of particle elements along the muon beam axis were measured by using dosimeters such as CR39, TLD, etc. Using these experimental results, the calculation codes for high-energy particle transportation, such as PHITS, were validated.
