The anisotropic low-energy quasiparticle excitations indicates multiple superconducting components in a chiral complex form. The most consistent is a chiral non-unitary state.

Background: In Japan, new regulations that revise the dose limit for the lens of the eye (the lens), operational quantities, and measurement positions for the lens dose were enforced in April 2021. Based on the international safety standards, national guidelines, the results of the Radiation Safety Research Promotion Fund of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority, and other studies, the Working Group of Radiation Protection Standardization Committee, the Japan Health Physics Society (JHPS) developed a guideline for radiation dose monitoring for the lens. Materials and Methods: The Working Group of the JHPS discussed the criteria of non-uniform exposure and the management criteria set to not exceed the dose limit for the lens. Results and Discussion: In July 2020, the JHPS guideline was published. The guideline consists of three parts: main text, explanations, and 26 questions. In the questions, the corresponding answers were prepared, and specific examples were provided to enable similar cases to be addressed. Conclusion: With the development of guideline on radiation dose monitoring of the lens, radiation managers and workers will be able to smoothly comply with revised regulations and optimise radiation protection.

The J-PARC 3-50BT line is the beam transport line from 3-GeV rapid-cycling synchrotron (RCS) to 50-GeV main ring (MR). The RCS is the high-intensity proton accelerator, where designed beam power is 1 MW, and has the complex source of space charge effect, etc. Therefore, the uncontrolled emittance growth and beam halo increase nonlinearly with the increasing the beam power. Additionally, the physical aperture of MR with 81 mm mrad is smaller than that of RCS with 486
mm mrad. Therefore, the 3-50BT line has the collimators in order to remove the tail or halo of the extracted beam from the RCS. The designed collimator aperture is 54
mm mrad. It is required to measure and optimize the optics parameters in the collimator area for taking full advantage of the beam collimation. Especially, it is very important to make the dispersion functions free in the collimator area and optimize the beta function. This paper will introduce the method of optics measurement and report the result of the measurement and optimization based on the simulation.

Rapid Cycling Synchrotron (RCS) of Japan Proton Accelerator Complex (J-PARC) is providing more than 300 kW of proton beam to Material and Life science Facility (MLF) and Main Ring (MR). Last summer shutdown, a new ion source was installed to increase output power to 1 MW. In order to achieve reliable operation of 1 MW, we need to reduce beam loss as well. Beam quality of such higher output power is also important for users. Therefore we developed new monitors that can measure the halo with higher accuracy. We present beam monitor systems for these purposes.

To maintain the beam orbit of beam transport line from RCS to MR in J-PARC (3-50BT), 14 beam position monitors (BPMs) were installed. Their signals gathered in the local control building (D01) have been measured by using 14 digitizing oscilloscopes. The data acquisition system have a performance of shot-by-shot measurement.

on the noncentrosymmetric heavy-fermion compound CePt
Si in which antiferromagnetism (AFM) with
=2.2 K coexists with superconductivity (SC) with
=0.75 K. Its spin part
K
, which is deduced to be K
0.11 and 0.16 at respective magnetic fields H=2.0061 and 0.8671 T,. does not decrease across the superconducting transition temperature Tc for the field along the c-axis. The temperature dependence of nuclear spin-lattice relaxation of
Pt below Tc has been accounted for by a Cooper pairing model with a two-component order parameter composed of spin-singlet and spin-triplet pairing components. From this result, it is shown that the Knight-shift data are consistent with the occurrence of the two-component order parameter for CePt
Si.
