With increasing pressure P, the Neel temperature =10 K decreases and becomes zero at a critical pressure Pc 2.6 GPa. In the pressure region , we have observed a large main Fermi surface named a, which indicates that the electronic state of 4 f electron in CeIn changes from localized to itinerant at Pc, as observed in the similar antiferromagnets CeRhSi and CeRhIn. The cyclotron effective mass of this main Fermi surface is extremely enhanced around Pc: 60 at 2.7 GPa for the magnetic field along the 100 direction.

The electronic state has been investigated by the de Haas-van Alphen experiment, indicating the similar cylindrical Fermi surfaces as in an antiferromagnet UPtGa. We have also studied the pressure effect by measuring the electrical resistivity. The Nel temperature decreases with increasing pressure and becomes zero at 3.1 GPa. The antiferromagnetic state is changed into the paramagnetic state above 3.1 GPa.

A long-range model for advective diffusion of radon and its progeny products transported from the Asian continent was developed to investigate the effect of atmospheric radioactive substances to the winter thunderstorm. This system is based on regional meteorological model RAMS4.4 and material transport model HYPACT1.2. Using this system, a simulation was performed from October, 2002 to September, 2003. The annual fluctuation and advection from the continent were also studied.

To evaluate the influence to which radon and its decay products cause the thunderstorm activity, a large area diffusion model of radon is constructed for an Australian northern part that is one of the most frequent region of the thunderstorm in the world. The advection and diffusion analysis of radon in the atmosphere was carried out, and it compared it with the measured result of the radon concentration in the region from the dry season to the rainy season.
